What CoCo Knows About Your Online Store

When you connect your Shopify store to CoCo, we automatically retrieve your entire product catalog. Each product includes its title, description, and various metadata unique to your store, which CoCo can utilize.

These details form the foundational knowledge of your online store for CoCo.

To enhance CoCo's understanding, navigate to the "AI Settings and Data" page and review the selected Product metafields. Ensure that the relevant ones are checked, as they can enrich CoCo’s responses with additional insights.

If you activate a metafield, it will be enabled for all products in your store.

AI Product Metafields

We do not recommend including customer reviews unless they are highly relevant. CoCo processes all available information, and some customer reviews may contain inaccuracies that could mislead the AI.

How to Create Segments in Coco AI

Segments are a great way to target the specific customers you want to reach in your messaging to make sure you are sending the right message to the right customer.

Why you should use Segments in CocoAI

Segments allow you to provide a more personalized experience to specific parts of your audience based on their previous actions with your brand.
You control how broad or tight the segment is. Want to target a very specific set of users who fit a specific criteria? Or target a large portion of your list?
Segments allow you to boost ROI by targeting the subscribers that will respond to your message.

How to Create a Segment in CocoAI

Navigate to the Segments Section of your CocoAI dashboard on the left hand side.
Click on "Create Segment" in the top right hand corner.

Here is an example Segment. We're looking to create a segment of customers who have made a purchase in the last 14 days. Segment: Recent Purchaser

Name your segment. Have a clear simple name that summarizes what the segment is so it's easy to find when you want to use it later. Some best practices (Add the date it was created/updated and the initials of the last person to update it so you know who to ask for definitions.

It’s how we decided to name our Whatsapp campaigns 😊

An Icebreaker is similar to an email newsletter: it's a message sent to your entire base or a segment of your WhatsApp subscribers.

All messages are sent at the same time.

⚡ How to Send an Icebreaker with CoCo?

1️⃣ Click on "Icebreakers" in the left menu (red arrow)

You will arrive on this dashboard that lists all your past or future Icebreakers along with their statistics.

3️⃣ Edit your Icebreaker

→ Language / Targets:

You can select the language of your Icebreaker using the "select language" option (red arrow).

If you have subscribers from different countries in your database (for example, France, UK, Spain), selecting a language will segment your Icebreaker.

For example, if you select "Spain", it will only send the Icebreaker to people in your database with a Spanish number.

→ The “product to push” (optional):

You can select a specific product to send via the "product to push" option. It will automatically take the product photo from Shopify.

You can create Coco AI segments and user filters using Klaviyo activity. Specifically, you can now use WhatsApp to reach out to subscribers who have received a particular Klaviyo email as well as subscribers who have clicked any links within any email.

What This Means For Your Shop

Target subscribers who received a specific Klaviyo email using a segment or automation filters.
Target and follow up with WhatsApp subscribers who clicked on any link included in a Klaviyo email.
Send WhatsApp messages through Klaviyo webhooks to embed WhatsApp directly in Klaviyo Flows.

What You Need to Get Started

You will need an [active Klaviyo integration] in order to share information between Coco AI and Klaviyo.
