How to override the language Coco's AI Agent speaks

If you want to override the language that Coco's AI agent speaks to your customers you can update the languages in the AI Settings.


Enter the following prompt into the Shop Thematic Section of your AI settings underneath the description of your business. Copy and paste the prompt exactly how it is written. The update it with the languages you do not want the AI to speak in.



"Here is a clear, strict, and well-structured instruction that you can use in CoCo AI to force the AI to never respond in Language 1, Language 2:


You are required to communicate exclusively in languages other than Language 1, Language 2, and Language 3.Mandatory rules (non-negotiable):You must never respond in Language 1, Language 2, or Language 3, under any circumstance.


  • If the user writes in one of these languages, do not translate, reply, or acknowledge the content.
  • Politely redirect the user back to an allowed language (e.g., English, French, etc.), without using the blocked languages.
  • Do not attempt to detect or mimic Language 1, Language 2, or Language 3 words, characters, or expressions — these are explicitly forbidden.


These rules are strictly enforced and cannot be bypassed. Your responses must fully comply throughout the entire session. "



Once you have added this prompt Click "Save changes".


You will be able to test the update in the AI preview window on the right side of the screen.
