There is an issue with your Subscription and/or usage billing

There is an issue with your subscription and/or usage billing.

If you are seeing the following error in your Coco Billing page and noticed that your Campaigns are not sending it is this means that Shopify has deactivated the billing for Coco AI because you have hit the spending limit in Shopify.

To solve this you need to take 2 steps:

  1. Resubscribe to your Coco plan. You can just hit subscribe the exact same plan your were already on. This allows Coco billing to re-establish the sync with Shopify.
  2. Increase the spending limit for an app in Shopify. You will need to increase your spending limit to approve the additional charges to continue with the monthly expenses.

You will not be charged again when you resubscribe to a Coco plan. This action just reactivates your current subscription.

How to increase your spending limit in Shopify

Step-by-step guide from Shopify:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
  2. Navigate to Settings (bottom-left corner) > Apps and sales channels.
  3. Go to Coco in your list.
  4. Click the three dots (...) next to the app.
  5. Select View details or View spending limit.
  6. In the pop-up or section, find the "New app spending limit" field and enter a new, higher amount.
  7. Check the box to acknowledge you are changing the limit.
  8. Click Set limit or Save to confirm the change.

We recommend adding $2,000 - $3,000 to your spending limit if you hit the maximum to ensure that you don't hit it again. If you hit it multiple times in a month that is a good sign that it is time to upgrade.

Just because the spending limit is increased doesn't mean that Coco AI will charge you that amount on a monthly basis.

Once the spending limit has increased and Coco has been reconnected all functionality will resume as normal.
